5 London dating events that prove single people have more fun
Singles events have come a long way from cringey speed dating. Just ask Inner Circle. This dating-app-come-events-expert has been hosting singles soirées for almost a decade now, and it’s just reached its 500th event.

1. Chase the Summer, London, 2019
A pop-up party in Battersea Park complete with rosé, DJ sets, and infamous Chris Sharp on the sax. Inner Circle transformed the lakeside terrace into a chilled out summer vibe where single people could meet in a natural way.
2. Summer Polo, London, 2018
Classy, extravagant and totally exuberant, Inner Circle’s Polo party was one to remember. Over 750 single people flocked to The London Polo Club for a day packed with summer brunch, adrenaline-fuelled polo matches, and a top-notch dance party. Throw in live music, dazzling DJ sets, mind-blowing magic shows and staggering psychic readings and it’s clear to see why this one was a firm favourite.
3. Rio Carnival, Brazil, 2020
One of the biggest events in the Brazilian calendar, and the perfect opportunity for flirting. But how do you know who’s open to date? Inner Circle joined the parade handing out cups, sunnies and bandanas to help singles spot each other in the crowd. It’s genius because everyone’s flirt game levels up when they know who’s in the same boat, and entirely the point of these events.
4. Chez Mila, Paris, 2019
At the foot of the Eiffel Tower, Paris’ finest singles gathered at this trendy bar for a night of mixing and mingling. Chez Mila provided a luxurious, trendy vibe, and Inner Circle made sure the place was packed with ice breakers, cheeky games and non-stop music that helped everyone let loose.
5. The Curtain, London, 2020
A spot in Shoreditch with a laid back New York vibe. Inner Circle served drinks and tasty bites while throwing down some fresh beats to get single people up and dancing. The cheeky Sunday session attracted 300 people, and whether they left with a new flame or not, at a party this good it was a great night guaranteed.
